Renault plans 300 BHP Megane RS.


Recently Modified Renault Megane was spied by Autocar Uk, being tested at Nordschleife shows that Renault is gearing up with the next-gen of the hot hatchback.

The present version of Megane 250 gives away around 50bhp to the RS, if the sources according to Autocar are to believed then the revised model, the 2.0-litre powerplant could yield considerably more power  perhaps as much as 300bhp.

The new Megane is overhauled with minor tweaks.The new design is being designed under the guidance of British engineer Steve Marvin, credited with some of the best hot hatches of the past decade.
The new car will be built on the main Mégane production line in Palencia, Spain.

There is possibility of reduction in weight as New Megane will be  using plastic windows and selected carbonfibre panels.
